Restaurant Supervisor

About the Role

A restaurant supervisor is tasked with ensuring that a restaurant runs smoothly. In this role, you will be asked to perform a variety of managerial functions. This involves many different tasks, including hiring and training staff, managing schedules, maintaining inventory and ensuring compliance with all food health and safety requirements, providing our guests with a consistency high-quality dining experience, and leading staff to do the same.

The role of the restaurant supervisor will also be a front of house and back of house one. Supervisors may need to support the broader restaurant staff by helping in the kitchen, serving customers, and bussing and cleaning. They will also be in charge of both responding to customer complaints and resolving them, and coming up with strategies for improving our customers’ dining experience. 

The supervisor must maintain communication with admin and staff. They are responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of the restaurant.

Requirements

About the Role

A Restaurant Barista/Cashier is involved in the main operations of the restaurant, with the main objective of providing exceptional customer service. A Restaurant Barista/Cashier's main duties and responsibilities include greeting customers, attending to customers and their inquiries, collecting payment and providing change, operating the POS, preparing hot and cold beverages (e.g. coffee, tea, frappuccinos, etc.), and cleaning and keeping a sanitised preparation and dining area.

About the Role

A Restaurant Cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include setting up, cleaning, and organising work stations, preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures, storing food properly, sanitising work stations and utensils, reordering stock and food supplies. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work includes operating a grill, oven, or fryer. Previous experience in a team environment and various cooking methods preferred.

About the Role

A Forecourt Cashier’s responsibility is in the operations during his/her shift. A Forecourt Cashier's main duties and responsibilities include answering customer questions, collecting payment, and giving appropriate change and official receipt. They are responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer (cash sales), sales transactions, credit, purchase orders, cash out, safe drops, balancing Daily Shift Report (DSR) from cash on hand, proper turn over at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts and records, and other duties as required including attending to customers. They are also in charge of training the trainees and act as the team leader of the shift.
